About J. Michael Vallee

Areas of practice include consumer fraud, serious injury cases, lemon law, product defects, insurance disputes, Elder abuse, and many others. J. Michael Vallee is well-known in the community and frequently speaks to other lawyers concerning special areas of practice.

Raised in Los Gatos, California, Mike earned his bachelor degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He then obtained his law degree from the University of San Diego in 1981. He is admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court, United States district courts, and all California appellate and trial courts.

Mike has served on the Board of Directors for the North County Bar Association and held the position of vice president in that organization. He has served as chairperson of the North County bar or personal injury lawyers. He is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, the National Association of Consumer Attorneys, and the National Consumer Lawyers Association. He is a member in good standing of the California State Bar since 1981 and the North County Bar Association since 1982.

In his community, Mike serves on the board of directors of a community foundation, has served as president of the Encinitas/La Costa Rotary Club, and established the “Make-A-Wish Rotary Surfing Day” for young cancer patients.

J. Michael Vallee graduated from Gerry Spence's Trial Lawyers College outside of Dubois, Wyoming. Founded in 1994, by arguably America's finest trial lawyer, Gerry Spence, only 48 lawyers from around the country are invited each year to attend the month-long trial Lawyers College. The college teaches intensive trial skills and techniques, which Mike's firm has incorporated into their practice.
